Sandia Peak Ski and Tramway is located in the Cibola National Forest, New Mexico. With 30 acres of trails and 200 skiable acres, Sandia Peak is only a short tramway ride from the Albuquerque Metro area.
Sandia Peak has a complete ski rental and ski repair shop. Also on the grounds is a certified ski school and staff of instructors for adults and children and the Double Eagle II Day Lodge, where the ticket office, skier’s cafe, restrooms, Wintermill Ski Shop, and Skier Information Center are all located. In summer or winter, enjoy the breath taking sights from the World's Longest Tramway with an 11,000 square mile panoramic view.
Ski season begins mid-December through mid-March. Besides skiing, snowboarding is also welcomed for those young at heart, along with recreational racing for the adventure seekers. An Adaptive Ski Program is offered for both the physically and mentally challenged.
During the summer season, Sandia Peak is fully equipped with over 40 rental bikes and a full service bike shop. You can bike or hike the many mountain trails, play sand pit volleyball, horseshoes or just take the scenic summer chairlift up the peak for the ultimate downhill views. Sandia Peak makes a perfect place for family reunions, company picnics, club gatherings or just getting together with friends.

Daily: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.
Fall/Winter – Labor Day to Memorial Day
Daily: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm. (Except Tuesdays)
Tuesdays only 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

From I-40 - Exit 167:
Tramway Boulevard, take Tramway Boulevard. North approximately 9 miles to the Sandia Peak Tramway.
From I-25 - EXIT 234:
EXIT 234 Tramway Road. Follow Tramway Road, East to the Sandia Peak Tramway.
